Many of us wake up, wander into the kitchen and zap our breakfast in a microwave, ignoring such techno-dinosaurs like the stove, oven, or even the toaster. In our cars, we might listen to commands from our GPS and use our cell phones for every imaginable task under the sun. And that’s just our morning! It’s a rapidly changing world, and where technology will lead us next is both thrilling and frightening to contemplate.
